With the
teaser of warm weather, tick season has arrived early this year.
Ticks are carriers of the dangerous Lyme Disease. We
recommend inspecting your dog's body after any outside time. If
you find a tick, you should remove it immediately. Tweezers are
very helpful. Do not use your hands. Be sure to grab
onto the tick right next to your dog's skin, as the tick embeds
itself so it can feed on the blood.
If you notice your dog is having difficulty using his/her legs,
walking or standing; call your veterinarian immediately.
